One cup of dry quinoa yield three cups of cooked quinoa. Simply rinse quinoa and apply 2:1 water to quinoa ratio. Start boiling this mixture but only on low heat. Cook quinoa for 10/15 minutes until liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat and allow this mixture to cool down for 5 minutes and enjoy your nutritious quinoa.
Cook Up – Substitute for brown or white rice in stir fry, Sushi, Mexican and Indian rice recipes ,or serve solo as a side dish.
Wake Up – Replace cereal or oatmeal with quinoa and milk topped with fruit, cinnamon or your choice of sweetener.
Chop Up – Use a food processor, blender or other grinder to turn toasted quinoa into flour.
